As an area of special interest, Sports Physiotherapy not only focuses on the elite athletes in the world, but it draws on the experiences of working with these people to help everyday patients achieve their personal goals.
Sports Physiotherapists have a vast knowledge of how the human body physically works and can therefore diagnose and treatment all manner of specific sports injuries. A Sports Physiotherapist also approaches a patient from an active perspective, believing in rehabilitation through movement and control and that activity rather than rest is sometimes the best form of rehabilitation.
Our Sports Physiotherapists have extensive hands on experience working with international, local and elite athletes from various team and individual sports and through our membership to Sports Physiotherapy Australia we have access to the most recent clinical advances in sports physiotherapy through conferences, workshops and other continuing education processes.
All our physiotherapists have recent experience with elite teams and Jonathan Moses has worked with international rugby union teams in Hong Kong and in Australia with Queensland Country Rugby Union, the mighty Noosa Dolphins and is the current touring physio for the Australian Mens Rugby 7’s team.
