David trained as a physiotherapist in Dunedin NZ, qualifying in 1982. Having completed 2 years hospital service he established a private practice in Hamilton NZ which he operated for 18 years.
In 1986 David qualified with a Post Graduate Diploma of Manipulative Physiotherapy from the New Zealand Manipulative Therapists Association.
From 1999 onwards David became a teacher, examiner and clinical supervisor for the NZMTA and the Auckland University Masters in Physiotherapy Courses.
In 2000 David commenced a Law degree at the University of Waikato NZ, qualifying in 2003 with a Bachelor of Laws and is admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
In 2004 David moved to the Sunshine Coast and took up a position as a private physiotherapist in Cooroy. Since then he has worked in several locations around the Sunshine Coast.
David works in all areas of musculoskeletal physiotherapy, manipulation and acupuncture with particular interest in the management of spinal conditions, headaches and dizziness. Other areas treated include TMJ (Jaw) pain, osteoarthritis of hips and knees and rehabilitation following surgery for joint replacement or reconstruction.
